Distinguish the price types
The list price is the maker’s published starting price. A cash offer gives the medicine price for payment without insurance. If insurance pays, ask separately how much of the bill you still owe. These amounts can differ for the same medicine.
The maker’s cash offers for semaglutide, recorded on 26 September 2026, were $149 to $499 each month. The price depended on the product and its strength: how much medicine it contained.
Those amounts paid for medicine alone, leaving other online-care charges to check. The lowest injection offers covered the first two monthly prescription supplies. Ask what you would pay after those two months.
A review of online service pages at that date found membership charges with medicine billed separately.
Ask for the later total too
“What would the bill look like after the opening offer, and what could change it?”
Savings cards are offers from a drug’s maker to reduce what an eligible person pays for a prescription. Terms read on 26 September 2026 set 31 December 2026 as the end date for several cards and cash offers.
An offer’s end date is a point to recheck, not proof that the next price will rise.
